Paper manuscript of pages X, 709 (originally numbered only up to 470), restored loss on the title page, rare foxing, brown half leather and cardboard back binding. On the back cover is an ex libris by William Stirling with the Stirling family motto "Gang Forward".
Specialist Notes
The preface by the anonymous author is dated 1827 but the narrative is updated to 1834, rich in information on the genealogical, political, military and civil history of the city and the Kingdom of Naples.
