Bronze hilt with 60% gilding, elliptical butt-plate with angled ends, pierced knuckle-guard decorated with curled loop-guards, spherical pommel and solid grip with coils; ring nut decorated with short oblique grooves. Iron scabbard with brass mounts; cap with the coat of arms of a noble Roman family; two lugs; the scabbard complete with leather clutches, partly covered with gilded threads.
