Beautiful, wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade with central fuller on both sides, engraved with the word "FRINGIA" at the base on one side and the sun, crescent moon, stars and an arm with a hand holding a sabre on the other side; cabalistic symbols. Tang. Brass hilt, langets, parry quillon with flattened and faceted ball-shaped ends; characteristic Hungarian-style guard decorated with a continuous row of small balls called beads. Wooden grip covered with leather without wire binding. Long cap. Wooden scabbard covered with leather, two large brass mounts engraved with trophies of arms, flags and drums in French style; two lugs. Iron chape.
