Specialist Notes

According to Ferry Porsche: “The 911 is the only car that you can take from an African safari to Le Mans, then to the theatre, and after that, drive on the streets of New York.” This specimen is part of the latest 2.4-litre evolution of the (early) F series, which still features thin bumpers, before having to comply (with the G model) with the new US safety and pollution regulations. It is in the T (Touring) version, less performing than the more powerful S, but definitely the best for daily driving and touring. It was finished in June 1972, as per Porsche Certificate of Origin, attached, and registered new in Germany. It had only one owner for 47 years, before the current one in 2019. The history of the car is traced by complete documentation: there is a service booklet, all (German) invoices for maintenance and the restoration which took place in 2005, expertise of the car and Tüv certification of the periodic inspections with indication of the km traveled (only 80,400 km to date). Options, as per the manufacturer's specifications: front seat headrests, seat belts, Comfort equipment, 6J x 15 alloy wheels (Fuchs), rear window wiper, 911 S type instruments and oil tank, 85-litre oversized tank with small spare wheel, shielded antenna and speaker system. The latter is joined by an AM/FM Blaupunkt car radio from the time. The color combination is not original but foreseen at the time; born “blutorange” (orange red) with beige leatherette interior, during the restoration it was opted for a metallic silver with black leather interior. Already with a personalized German plate (ROT9110), since 2019 it has been registered in Italy. Perfect conditions.
