Specialist Notes
As had already happened for the Appia, Flavia and Flaminia, Lancia gave Zagato the task of creating the sport version of the Fulvia. It was launched in 1965 and had the same mechanics as the Coupé, but thanks to improved aerodynamics it reached higher top speeds. It was almost never used in rally competitions but found its natural competition ground on the track. The Fulvia Sport 1600s are the maximum evolution of the model and appear with the second series, equipped with a steel bodywork, with a higher roof and front-hinged bonnet. They are fitted with the "Fanalino" engine and gearbox, have specific recessed handles, stainless steel bumpers with rubber bolts, seats with headrests, electric windows. Only 800 of this model were built. This example has been partially restored in Belgium with new paint, around 5 years ago. The current owner bought it a few months later, still in Belgium. Registered and with Fiva passport.
