Genoa, printed for Giuseppe Pavoni at the request of Bernardo Castello, 1617. In 8°. Full parchment binding. Smooth spine with gold label bearing the author and title. Engraving frontispiece and frontispiece. Title on the frontispiece. Portrait of the dedicatee on the frontispiece and of the author on the frontispiece. Woodcut initials. Text in two columns. 20 engraving illustrations (at the beginning of each canto). Due to a misunderstanding in imposition, the illustrations of canto IV and V are incorrect (the correct figure is superimposed within the frame). Slight redness and brown ink marks.
