Autograph letter signed in 4°, 2 and a half pages, Settignano, August 1902. Attached is a letter from Adolfo Orvieto , director of Il Marzocco , on Il Marzocco headed paper, dated 30 September 1902, addressed to his sister Eugenie Errera in Brussels, in which he speaks of sending d'Annunzio's autograph as a gift.

A beautiful letter of introduction by d'Annunzio, introducing the art critic and writer Adolfo Orvieto to some of his unidentified fellow countrymen: "My dear Sir and fellow countryman...he comes to visit our old land of Abruzzo in select company to seek out its most beautiful natural features and noblest monuments of art. He is well known for the sincere and warm hospitality of our people (...)". A splendid and concise presentation of the noble people of Abruzzo, of its land and its resources.
