Lot consisting of two original photographs of Elizabeth Taylor, taken by Gianni Bozzacchi, an Italian photographer and director famous for having immortalized some of the greatest icons of cinema and pop culture of the 60s and 70s.
The first image portrays the actress running towards the lens on the set of the film X, Y and Zi : it is a photograph dated 1972, signed with the surname of her husband at the time, Richard Burton. " Lizabeh came out of the dressing room running and this made everything more difficult. I couldn't think. She was running towards me, I instinctively bent down on my knees and, stepping back, I took three shots, including this one ." G. Bozzacchi, Memorie Ex Poste, 2013.
The second is an original vintage photograph with dedication and autograph signature addressed to Mimmo Cavicchia, the well-known owner of Taverna Flavia in Rome, to whom Elizabeth Taylor was particularly fond. In the dedication, the actress affectionately refers to herself as "Little Liz".
