Second enlarged edition of various additions and manuscript notes by Pellegrino, some notes by Alessio Simmaco Mazzocchi and three "Discorsi" taken from History of the Longobard Princes. The "Apparatus.." by Camillo Pellegrino, divided into four speeches or dissertations, is one of the most important historical-topographical descriptions of the territory which included the ancient province called "Campania Felix  or Terra di Lavoro" and of its cities following the itineraries of the Via Domiziana and the Via Appia from Liri and Volturno to Naples (Minturno, Sessa, Literno, Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei) and then Capua, Caiazzo, Nola and Forche Caudine. One of the "Discourses" deals with agriculture, crops, oenology and livestock breeding.
