Auction details
The key feature is the "No Reserve" format: all lots will start at a base price of 10 euros and be sold to the highest bidder, with no minimum reserve price.
The auction includes artwork featuring iconic characters such as Tex, Zagor, Dylan Dog, Mickey Mouse, Geppo, and Nonna Abelarda, with works by artists including Magnus, Bottaro, Diso, Asteriti, Chierchini, Dossi, Montanari & Grassani, Angoletta, and Nadir Quinto.
Highlights include the original illustrations for the Disney menu "The Good, The Bad, and The Ducky"—featuring Donald Duck as a cowboy—created by Alex Kupershmidt, a veteran animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Please note that the timed auction lots will close independently starting at 10:00 AM on September 18, at one-minute intervals. Closing times are subject to change based on bids received: the system will extend a lot's closing time by 5 minutes if a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes.
Conditions of Sale
Pop Culture is a living reflection of the tastes, trends, and icons that mark an era. Music, cinema, television, sports, comics, games, literature, and everyday objects make up a constantly evolving universe that tells the story of who we are and what we love.
Our Pop Culture and Memorabilia department was born from this awareness: it is the point where passion, expertise, and collector’s sensibility come together to create auctions that showcase the best of our shared imagination. The appeal of memorabilia continues to grow, because what makes it special is not only its rarity, but the history it holds: a jersey worn by a great champion, an autographed vinyl record, an original costume from a cult film, an iconic comic book, a toy that marked an entire generation, or even a pair of sneakers that became a symbol of a cultural era. Our experts carefully select diverse collections ranging from sports to music, cinema to television, history to literature, including collectible sneakers, autographs, trading cards, graded comics, animation cels, models, and vintage toys. Each auction is designed to celebrate the many nuances of pop culture, offering the public not only objects, but real stories to discover and pass on.
