Palermo, Gaetano Maria Bentivenga, 1769. In 2nd. On the title page, an elegant allegorical figured vignette, small end engraved with ancient vestiges, double-page engraved copper plate "Veterum Siculorum numismata quibus hoc opus illustratur", & nbsp; illustrations in the text both engraved in copper and on wood, & nbsp; part of the text framed by a frame, some stains, double-page plate with halos, coeval parchment binding with title & nbsp; some stains and faults in gold. & nbsp;
Specialist Notes
Second rare edition, cited by Brunet V, 889; Graesse VII, 175; Mira I, 197 but unknown to Moncada lo Giudice 529, who instead cites the 1784 edition as the second.
