Information
Venice, at Ruberto Meietti, 1596. In-4°, contemporary binding in soft parchment with six raised bands, handwritten title on the spine. Woodcut initial and frieze. Meietti publisher's mark woodcut on the front. (in a figurative frame, two roosters, one pecking at corn kernels, in the center a plant with ears of corn; motto: non comedetis fruges mendacii) and another mark of G. Alberti (in a figurative frame: the Sibyl, a woman with an open book in her hands; at the bottom: Sibylla.) at the end of f. 2D4v. Slight traces of use on the binding. Presence of damp stains in the lower part of numerous leaves, mostly at the beginning of the work and minimally on the final ones.
