Text within a typographical frame, substantial red morocco binding, Savoy coat of arms "Monte / Vittorio Emanuele" on the covers and gold-engraved decorations within a blind frame, minor signs of wear. Author's dedication to Vittorio Emanuele II on the flyleaf. Paper bookplate on the inside cover with family coat of arms.
