A message from Settimelli to " dearest Freddi ", greeted in the fascist manner of " Alalà! ", in which he asks for "a prompt official appointment"
Together with Carli, Settimelli founded the magazine L'Impero , which had a complex editorial history: from 1926 to 1929, L'impero illustrato, from 1930 to 1931 the daily L'Impero d'Italia, and from 1933 to 1935 the monthly L'Impero fascista. In these magazines, the Florentine writer and journalist experimented with the "futurfascist" approach.
