Autograph draft by Roberto Farinacci on " Cremona Nuova " headed paper, dated Cremona, October 1922
" Dear Mussolini, Cremona, Mantua cannot accept delays. Farinacci "
Draft written the day before the March on Rome, for sending a telegram to Mussolini, which attests to Farinacci's having incited the city of Cremona to revolt ahead of the agreed-upon date. Farinacci, also known as the " Ras" of Cremona , organized the Fascist party in the rural areas of the Po Valley, becoming a leading exponent of the extremist and brutal line, encouraging the violence of the fascist squads and being reprimanded by Mussolini himself, who felt the excesses of the squadristi weighed heavily on his image.
A visceral anti-Semite, he was the main supporter of the racial laws and stood out as the hierarch closest to Nazism, an admirer of Himmler and Goebbels.
