Michael Beck (Memphis, February 4, 1949), is an American actor who achieved popularity in the late seventies by playing the iconic role of Swan in the iconic filmThe Warriors of the Night(1979) by Walter Hill. The protagonist of the film is a street gang from Coney Island, the Warriors, who send their own delegation to the large gathering of all the New York youth gangs convened in the Bronx. On that occasion, however, they are wrongly accused of killing the leader of a respected rival gang, thus finding themselves having to escape ambushes from rival groups and the police as they cross the entire city to return to Coney Island.
