Henry Winkler (New York, October 30, 1945) is an American actor and writer, known to the general public for playing Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli in the popular sitcomHappy Days (1974-1984). He was also a producer of many TV series such as MacGyver, Amazing Stories and Mr. Sunshine. Starting in 2003 he began writing the series of children's books featuring Hank Zipzer, a nine-year-old boy suffering from dyslexia.
