On the title page, woodcut emblem of the Jesuits, slight foxing, contemporary parchment binding with handwritten title on the spine, some small stains, body of the text partially detached from the binding. Notes in an old hand on the flyleaf. § By the same Author, Avviso dell'incendio del Vesuvio [...] translated from Latin to Italian , Naples, Egidio Longo, 1635. In 8°. Woodcut friezes and initials, small loss on the lower margin of the title page, defect on the internal margin of the first quires, small restoration on the last 2 leaves, contemporary parchment binding with coats of arms of Urban VIII framed by friezes and beautiful gold frame on the covers, handwritten title on the spine, slight defects.
