In-12°, hardback binding, contemporary edition; 3 vols.; first part (ancient Naples): pp. (8), 182, 2 c. b/w illustrations, folded several times (one between p. 100 and 101, bearing the inscription in the corner of the Nunziata, and one at the bottom, bearing an iconography of Naples and the gulf, both by Cataneo inc.); second part (modern Naples): pp. (4), 5-189, (1 b.); third part (modern Naples): pp. (4), 5-212, 2 c. at the bottom with tables of weights and measures and statistics for the year 1814, repeated in the numbering on pp. 167-168. Work in burls and still with closed sheets. Presence of some damp stains. Complete work in very good general condition. § Together in the lot: Baroni Clemente, The history of Milan narrated to the young men , Milan, From the ancient firm of Pietro and Giuseppe Vallardi (Tip. Pirola), 1870. In-16°, oblong, 132x182 mm, contemporary hardback in half leather and cloth with the covers, illustrated cover with title and coats of arms from the original paperback glued to the front cover and title on a paper shield, also from the original paperback, glued to the spine, edges sprayed in red; engraved frontispiece and 15 full-page engraved steel plates, also outside the text. Work without publication date (1870?). Copy in almost excellent condition.

A work of great local historical interest, written by Abbot Domenico Romanelli (Fossacesia 1756 - Naples 1819), historian and archaeologist, author of numerous works on local history.
