Rome, Stamperia De Romanis 1815 - 1817. In 4°. 4 volumes. With a portrait of the Poet drawn by Durantini and engraved by Angelo Testa and three prints representing the three kingdoms at the beginning of each canticle. Light foxing. Contemporary half-leather binding on marbled cardboard.

Specialist Notes

Mambelli 109, p.77: Valuable edition produced according to the text and comments of the Roman edition of 1791 to which the editor made corrections and additions in each canticle, according to the Cassinesi and Caetani codices and the most learned commentators after Lombardi.
