"Dear Professor. I'm still bothering you. The ODEs I got from Tokyo and Cambridge. Now I would like to know if the Encyclopedia of Ma Tuan Lin is in Italy, not to buy but to consult? (.. .). Are you not willing to make a list of the 100 Chinese books that must make up a bi=lingual library? (...)" Nice letter concerning the Chinese subject, one of the topics that has always and for a long time intrigued Pound.
