Octagonal, damask barrels, with thick rib and fuller on the back. Signature "BRIER ARQ.ER 16 RUE ST. GEORGES A PARIS", foresight, rear sight with three adjustments, with two folding sight leaves. The upper, 11.5 mm cal. is rifled (visible rifling, it needs cleaning). The 12.9 mm cal. barrel is smoothbore. Backward spring locks with working mechanisms (the right does not hold the first snap). The lock plates finely engraved with racemes and signed "BRIER". Barrel tang worked en suite. Wooden butt (small defects on one side) with iron butt-plate engraved with racemes.
