Europa orientale
length 94 cm.
Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, of triangular section and flat sides. Light pitting and traces of cleaning. Elegant bronze mounts with much of the original gilding preserved. Cross-shaped quillon with short langets, decorated in relief both at the tips and along the surface with floral motifs; the remaining surface is textured with fine granulation and engraved stars. The grip also decorated with raised floral motifs arranged in volutes, featuring a small perforation near the back. The grip ends in a pointed shape, strongly curved downward. Non-gilded button at the back. Together with its wooden scabbard covered with well-preserved leather (possibly antique); the mounts en suite with the sabre in the same high-quality workmanship, with three long gilded bands decorated with floral motifs forming volutes. Two bronze lugs.
