Smoothbore, two-stage, 15 cal barrel with a flat back along its entire length; octagonal at the first part, at the base a bust in relief within a laurel wreath, followed by the signature ‘LAZARO LAZARINO’ between floral scroll engravings, very fine rear sight in the shape of folded parchment with head and tail carved with floral motifs; at the girdle a bas-relief mask, the second round segment with silver foresight. Slightly engraved tang. Beautiful flintlock plate, in the centre the signature ‘VICENZO ALZANO’ within a frame supported by an engraved cherub; the tail with a bas-relief bust among floral motifs, the pan cover with the same bust within a laurel wreath, the base and handle of the hammer with floral and grotesque carvings; hammer's screw, pan and batterie with floral carvings. Wooden full stock (some small repairs). Beautiful engraved steel mounts; counterplate structured with floral volutes and grotesques, trypical bas-relief medallion within a laurel wreath; this is also on the trigger guard, at the back of the handle and the butt plate, the latter featuring floral volutes with mirrored grotesques and an additional bust. Iron-tipepd wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. Two steel loops.
