Short, smoothbore, two-stage, 14 mm cal barrel: octagonal at the first part, signed “PIETRO MORETTI”; then round, with rib and silver swallowtailed foresight. Roman-style flintlock signed “GIUSEPPE VIZI.A”, engraved with floral motifs. Rare stock with Catalan-style butt, lightly sculpted with floral motifs. Fine brass mounts: the counterplate decorated with a figure, a snake and floral motifs; the trigger guard engraved with a warrior; the back decorated with a snake. Missing ramrod.
