dating: 19th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Straight, single-edged blade decorated with brass inlays (missing parts), near the weak a series of fretwork at the back. Richly carved and pierced deer-horn hilt, the base covered with vegetable fibre. Fine wooden scabbard partially carved and grooved with horn edges, the back with scabbard for a knife. Suspension rope. Deer-horn pendant, carved with a stylized face. length 49.8 cm.
