dating: 19th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Beautiful, single-edged blade with back carved and pierced on the right side and decorated as an 'S' and with silver-inlaid stars along the back, the tang carved inside. Rare type of hilt made of deer horn, finely carved and with two-tone horsehair, the base covered with vegetable fiber. Wooden scabbard with smooth and intertwined fiber bands, complete with small knife with iron blade, wooden shaft and carved, horn handle complete with scabbard for a piso raout with remains of red fabric covering, a woven fiber band, horsehair and beads made of colored glass. Small missing parts and defects. Rare. length 64.5 cm.
