dating: 19th Century provenance: Nepal, Solid, long, single-edged blade of typical shape with double groove at the first part near the back, and crescent-shaped carving at the base of the edge, provided with a small spike at the centre, brass inlaid works on one side. Partially checkered, wooden grip with side ring, pommel with narrow base and brass button. Leather-covered, wooden scabbard with two large silver mounts majestically engraved and pierced with floral motifs in bas-relief, the chape with mark. On the back side a small sheath containing two very small knives with checkered grip and flat metal pommel together with another flat scabbard open on both sides. length 50 cm.
