Information
dating: 1860-70 provenance: France, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal barrel, provided with high rib with sight and signed 'E. Lefaucheux B.te a Paris'. Clearly visible rifling, some pitting inside, and signs of the rib attachment. Smooth, six-shot cylinder with marks. Mechanism working in single, double and triple action. Marked with 'INV.ON E. LEFAUCHEUX BREVETE SGDG PARIS' under the barrel, on the left side the serial number 'LF 73XX.' Barrel and cylinder with 60% of original finishing. Handle with smooth wooden grips, provided with ring for the strap. This is a rare version of a Lefaucheux revolver also because it features a dorsal rib.
