dating: 1865 provenance: Belgium, Rifled, cylindrical, 11 mm cal barrel, provided with rear sight. Some pitting inside, visible rifling. Six-shot cylinder. Mechanism working both in single and double action. Marked 'SYSTEME ITALIEN', serial number '1xx,' remains of '...BR. BREVETE' (the rest no longer legible), with crowned 'N' mark. The metal parts with some signs of time. Handle with smooth wooden grips and ring for the strap. Interesting mechanism with swiveling cylinder inside, precursory model of the modern revolvers. Mark of the Liege test bench. Alessandro Guerriero, a gunsmith from Genoa, obtained two patents for revolvers and other firearms in 1861 and 1864 (B. Barbiroli, p. 309). length 27,5 cm.
