dating: 1861 - 1863 provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Rifled, cylindrical, 11 mm cal. barrel (some staining inside, visible rifling), with large foresight. Six-shot cylinder. Single-shot, working mechanism (needs revision). Frame with markings 'GLISENTI BRESCIA', mark 'C' and other marks, serial number not clearly visible. A few pitting. Wooden grips. Trigger guard with finger support, non-extractable ramrod, butt-plate with fuller. 'Short' variant of the Lefaucheux revolver, a transition between the French commercial model and the definitive model for Carabinieri. Restored and put into production by the Glisenti company.
