Information
dating: about 1870 provenance: Belgium, Two rifled, cylindrical, 7.4 mm cal barrels, the rear one with sight. Visible rifling, some pitting inside. Large cylinder with grooves, chambers in two orders, alternating, to fire with the upper barrel first, and then with the lower one, allowing to control the size of the cylinder and the overheating of the barrels. Mechanism working only in double action. Marks: 'G' crowned on the side of barrels; 'LEG' with star, 'G' and 'D' crowned on the cylinder. Few signs on the dorsal barrel.
