dating: circa 1900 provenance: China, Solid, wide, short, curved, single-edged blade grooved on both sides. Large horn grip with silver mounts engraved and embossed with floral and geometric motifs, decorated with coloured stones. Impressive horn scabbard with impressive embossed-silver mounts engraved with dragons and floral motifs. Chape shaped as a dragon's head, two suspension rings with a dragon worked in the round. Missing parts and small defects. Beautiful ceremonial short sword with high-quality mounts. Total length with scabbard: 57 cm. length 37.5 cm.
