dating: about 1870 provenance: Vienna, Round, rifled, 30 cal. barrels (bore with pitting, barely visible rifling), flat rib with rear sight and foresight. Iron frame signed 'GEBR. MAURER IN WIEN', finely engraved with floral motifs. Left side with opening button. Spur trigger. Working revolving firing pin. Butt with checkered, wooden grips. Butt-plate with suspension ring. Rare, especially for the signature. For the Maurer brothers see 'Der Neue Stöckel', vol. II, p. 775. length 17.5 cm.
