dating: about 1860 provenance: Naples, Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with central fuller, the tang with a mark of the Royal Factory of Naples. Bronze hilt similar to the navy hilt with monogram 'GM' under crown (for Municipal Guard), lion's head pommel and wooden grip with coils, without wire binding. Leather scabbard (abrasions) with brass mounts, two suspension rings. length 83.5 cm.
