dating: 1842 provenance: Naples, Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller, the first part engraved with trophies and floral motifs, the base marked '1842 Napoli Labruna', iron hilt with sheath-guard wings and long cap partially engraved with floral motifs; large facetted button. Horn grip (restoration) with metal wire binding. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings on bands decorated with fishbone motifs. length 98.5 cm.
