dating: End of 19th beginning of 20th Century provenance: Poland, Made of bronze-colored metal, of slightly convex shape. The central part with an elliptical shield featuring an engraved effigy of the Black Virgin of Częstochowa and with remains of gilding, silvering, and enamel colors, both the Virgin and the Child crowned. The shield located on a trophy of halberds, clubs, flags, cannons and other arms, all worked in relief. With crown at the top. Featuring a cartouche with the prayer 'SUB TUUM PRAESIDIUM CONFUGIMUS' under the shield. ,Drums, cannonballs and relieved shield with eagle on top at the bottom. Above, small floral carvings and open-works. With suspension chain. The rear part with purple velvet lining (partially worn and faded). height 25,5 cm.
