dating: about 1880 provenance: France, Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrel (clean bore, clearly visible rifling), marked 'C.F.G.' under crown and with serial number '45xx' on right side, provided with foresight; typical opening and extraction mechanism for cartridge cases with trigger guard operating as lever; smooth six-shot cylinder; remains of browning, areas damaged by rust; smooth wooden grip scales; grip provided with ring for the strap and tubular iron butt, folding on the right side. length total 53 cm.
