dating: 18th Century provenance: Marche, Long, smoothbore, two-stage barrel, octagonal at the first part, with frame and decorated with engraved floral motifs, then round after a ring and with brass moulded muzzle. Fine flintlock engraved and carved with floral motifs, the tang with a mask. Wooden full stock with antique restorations, especially under the barrel. Engraved brass mounts, butt-plate with mask. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractors. In patina. length 49.5 cm.
