dating: about 1880 provenance: Vienna, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrel, provided with front sight and fore-end, marked 'GASSER PATENT WIEN OTTAKRING SHUTZ MARCK 378xxx GUSS STAHL' and 'H' mark under a star; six-shot, smooth cylinder with same serial number, 'H' and '13' mark. Frame marked with the same serial number and 'L G'. On the right side extractor and loading gate. Working but tough mechanism (needs greasing?). Hammer with restoration made at the time of use. Butt with beautiful silver grips richly decorated in filigree and nielloed in Turkish Ali Pasha style. Ring for the strap. With leather scabbard (missing parts). Provenance: Anthony C.
