dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Smoothbore, two-stage, 15 mm cal. barrel, the first part octagonal with silver decoration at the base and 'S III' markings also made of silver, later round with rib; tang covered with silver; flintlock finely engraved with floral and geometric motifs; wooden full stock lightly engraved, the butt completely covered in silver foil decorated in filigree, the butt-plate decorated with floral motifs in relief, the back with cabochon corals and with three nielloed rhombuses. The iron trigger guard covered in leather. Long, embossed silver barrel bracket with fake ramrod. Very minor defects. In patina. Rare. length 53 cm.
