dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: England, Heavy, smoothbore, octagonal, damascened, browned, 14 mm cal. barrels marked 'Brighton', the first part is engraved with a flower on gilded bands, the reduced base, silver-plated vent, a foresight; engraved tangs, provided with a rear sight, flintlocks signed 'T. Weston', engraved with trophies, sun and floral motifs, equipped with safety-lock, anti-friction system and sealing system; three quarter stocks with saw-grip, checkered grip and iron mounts engraved en suite, trigger guards with finger support, brass-tipped wooden ramrods and pierced base for cartridge extractor use. length 41 cm.
