dating: circa 1600 provenance: Northern Italy, Iron head with convex-edged blade featuring on the back a beautiful rest shaped as a lily, at the base remains of a mark and two small counter-curved langets, ferrule with straps. On antique wooden shaft (broken and with several woodworm holes) decorated at the top with studs and provided with iron shoe. height circa 260 cm.
