Information
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Ethiopia, Of circular shape, made of thick brown leather. Richly decorated with white metal (silver?) mounts, the central umbo engraved with interlaced bands and with pairs of hemispherical studs on both sides, and with two mounts engraved and shaped as Coptic crosses. The outer band reinforced by staves held by studs. The rear part (some minor open-works, signs of use and time) lined with red-dyed leather and provided with large handle. diameter 51 cm.
