dating: 18th Century provenance: Germany, Straight double-edged blade of hexagonal section, grooved at the center at the first part featuring the inscriptions 'CROCIFISSIO ON EN ALE MI MIR' on one side and 'EN TOLEDO' on the other. Solid silver hilt, the double valve finely decorated with mystic animals in bas-relief on granulated background, quilon block, loop-guard, pommel and handle decorated with rocaille. length 98.5 cm.
