dating: 17th Century provenance: Italy, Wide and long, double-edged blade with thin groove at the center, solid tang with two other side grooves and barely-visible marks (?). Iron hilt with wide quillons curved toward the blade and with slightly enlarged ends. Quillon block with parry ring. Flattened, spherical pommel. Wooden hilt with brass wire binding and ring-nuts, probably of later period. length 72.5 cm.
