Heavy, rifled (clean bore, clearly visible rifling) octagonal barrel with rear sight and foresight, browned, 10 mm cal. at the muzzle; frame with rotating block mechanism, tang featuring patent marks dating up to 1866, provided with foldaway and adjustable peep sight. Wooden stock and fore-end with partially browned iron mounts; trigger guard tang with serial number "17xx". Working mechanism.
