Both composed of two plates featuring at the centre a decorated band with longitudinal ribbings, outlined and interspersed with fullers. The two plates are joined by a heavy hinge mounted on the outer side. Swallow-tailed border. All margins are either rolled or roped, except for the upper edge. The rivets have nearly cusped and radiating heads, of iron. For mounting, an iron buckle and a shaped mounting hole are present on both tassets. Typical tassets for pikeman’s corslets.
