Brass hilt, including shell-guard with lyre, quillon and loop guard ending in a snake's head. Pommel with leaves, checkered wooden grip. The ring nut at the rear with remains of the button which opens the scabbard. Blackened iron scabbard with brass mounts. A suspension ring.
