Single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller; engraved and gilded with the Savoy eagle, the motto “Vive Le Roy de Sardegna,” and decorative motifs (all restored or of a later period) at the first part, on a blue background. One-quillon, brass hilt with pommel shaped like a helmet with comb and long cap. Wooden grip; the covering and wire binding are likely from a later period. Leather-covered, wooden scabbard (from a later period) with three brass mounts; the two lug bands are engraved with floral motifs.
